A wonderful sight this morning.... it finally rained. Summer of 2009. Steve Burgoon told me that the Texas Sage was nature's barometer... they bloom when it rains or if there is a lot of humidity in the air. Everytime they bloom I think of Steve.

This is my friend Mary from Florida. Five years ago Mary and I walked from Boca Raton to Miami in the Avon Breast Cancer walk. Together we raised $8,000 for Breast Cancer research. Mary is a breast cancer survivor.
